Hamilton tells the life story of Alexander Hamilton, the forgotten and one of the Founding Fathers of the United States of America, who started as a Caribbean outsider and a bastard child to becoming an American war hero and George Washington’s right-hand man. During the process, he powerfully changed and shaped America and pulled himself by his bootstraps and realized the American Dream.

Hamilton is important to me because I love learning more about American history. It has sparked a new interest in things I didn’t know about during the American Revolution and show how important Alexander Hamilton was to the United States of America by creating the Federal Reserve and the American Banking System.

Alexander Hamilton

Hamilton is Tony Award-winning Broadway production written by Lin-Manuel Miranda. He first got the idea of the musical after reading Ron Chernow’s biography “Alexander Hamilton” during his vacation. The musical is very relevant today from themes 200 years ago and is a representation of how our society is. The production has a diverse cast and represents America’s diversity by using hip-hop and rap.

Tip: You can purchase tickets for the North American Tour as it visits a city near you.
