SeussOdyssey Our cast photo Oh, the Places You’ll Go! SeussOdyssey is a production about a Greek story in the style of Dr. Seuss. It transforms this literary classic into a rhyming poem. You follow Odysseus and his suitors on their journey as they tackle Cyclops, Poseidon, Circe, and many more Greek mythology characters. The comedic play takes you from Ithaca to Troy and shows a horrific battle between teddy bears. This show is an entertaining twist on a Greek tale and for the whole family to see with singing, laughing and green eggs and ham. Green Eggs and Ham SeussOdyssey is another show that is important to me because it was my second role as an actor. I had gotten into Theatre IV right after the production of Little Shop of Horrors because of the theatre teacher, the late Mrs. Jennifer Friedrich, had potential in me and decided to put me with the other seniors. The director, Mrs. Kaci Rhine, had immediately cast me and gave the perfect role. I played the role of Charybdis, and I couldn’t play the character seriously because I took the description of the creature and put it into my costume. The Cat in the Hat SeussOdyssey was my first production working on behind the scenes while being a featured character because I decided to take charge and become the costume designer. Now making the costumes come to life didn’t take too much time, but it was going through the whole costume closet and putting the costumes together. I made sure the costumes had a comedic twist and were very bright in this Greek play because it was in the style of Dr. Seuss. It was a wonderful opportunity to work with the crew on this production because I had an amazing experience of being on both sides.
